Sitting under an olive tree with the midday sun bathing the arid yet fertile grounds. The smells of faint citrus fruit in the distance caresses your mental recall of lemon meringues and home made lemonade, and all the while the ears are being serenaded by the midday cicada chirping louder and louder as the sun gets hotter and hotter. A thought occurred, has anyone actually ever seen a cicada up close. It then took me the rest of the day to track one of these musical creatures and photograph it on macro.
This image lent itself to help resolve the slogan ‘Full of Bugs’, internet, computers, phones (that’s all true), heads and world (sometimes this is conceptually true with common political mistakes made on International public levels).
